Gerry Sutton is a long standing member of our Probus Club. On May 19th 2022 he shared with us his memories of what it was like as a child to live thru World War 2 in London and in the country. Suddenly one day you are told you will have to leave your family and live in the north of England with another family until the War is over. Not a fun time, but part of life.
