Howard Iron Works Printing Museum & Restoration

On Thursday, October 27, 2022, The Probus Club of Oakville had the honor of visiting the Howard Iron Works Museum & Restoration. It was a fascinating tour conducted by owner Nick Howard about the history of the printing press between 1830 to the 1950s..

Over 100 presses were on display in immaculate condition and the tools that made them work. It is difficult to put into words how interesting it was to see Printing Presses from around the world and to learn in a very clear presentation about their evolution in Canada.

This is a world-class Museum right at our doorstep
